Critical studies
This year critical studies has been a lot more enjoyable, for two main reasons, the lecture we now have in the morning, gives us a focus for our seminars in the afternoon, so we can go in prepared and ready to talk and discuss what we have just learnt, and also I now have more of an understanding of what the different concepts and terminology mean So I find it a lot easier to understand what’s going on and I don’t feel in over my head.
I think the new format of this module is a lot better than last year, I feel a lot more comfortable having our sessions in the fashion studio as well, It feels a more comfortable environment, and actually having the seminars at 4 – 6 is a time when I am most awake and alert so I feel that I am getting the most out of the sessions.
